This the web presence for Emmanuel McVicker, software engineer, web developer, web designer and IT consultant based in the northwest of England.
I have a great passion for creating web sites that are simple, clear, easy to navigate, and are accessible to the widest possible audiences, and these principles also mean that I am an avid supporter for the adoption of Web Standards and Accessibility by other web designers.
About
I use this site as an experimental platform for testing new design, standards and usability methods before using them on any existing or new projects. I wanted to use this site primarily to showcase my work, but I also wanted to try and share tips and advice that I had received that saved me hours of head scratching over the last couple of years. The links page will also list useful resource websites for other developers and designers.
My other passion in life is photography. I love taking pictures, and although still at the keen amateur level, I would love to eventually turn it into my main career.
